The Bats got a quality start out of Gabriel Benitez who had his first outing since 2002 after missing all of 2003 with an injury. Benitez threw 5 innings giving up only 4 hits and 3 runs in earning the victory. Closer Chris Resop earned the save after pitching 1.2 innings.
Offensive highlights for the game were turned in by 1B Ryan Bear and CF Jai Miller who each had 3 hits in the game. SS Robert Andino had a 2 run single, RF Xavier Arroyo and 3B Joe Mazzuca both had RBI singles.
The win brought the Bats record to 2-1 on the season.

Starter James Russ took the loss after giving up 4 runs in 4 innings of work. Catcher Ryan Blake had 2 hits in the game and provided the Bats with their only RBI. CF Jai Miller continued his blazing start adding 2 hits in the loss.

The Bats were held to only 5 hits in the game. Their lone run came courtesy of catcher Spencer Wyman who hit a solo homerun. Joe Mazzuca and Andy Rohleder each had 2 hits in the game.
Bats starter Victor Prieto took the loss after giving up 4 runs in only 2 innings of work.
The loss takes the Bats record to 2-4.

The Bombers completed the series sweep of the Bats after coming back from an 8-3 deficit. The Bats carried the 5 run lead going into the 7th when recently activated Matt Yourkin gave up 4 runs in the 7th and Nathan Nowicki gave up 2 runs in the 8th to lose the game for the Bats.
The Bats got 2 run homeruns from both 1B Ryan Bear and LF Andy Rohleder. Rohleder also added a 2 run double. 2B Cole Seifrig also added an RBI single.
The 4th consecutive loss took the Bats record to 2-5 on the season. Next up, the Bats welcome in the Savannah Sand Gnats for a 4 game set.
On Tuesday, the Bats put left handed reliever Zach McCormack on the DL and have activated Matt Yourkin.
McCormack has pitched two inning of scoreless relief so far this season. Yourkin, a free agent signee has never pitched in affiliated baseball.
